Missions of the St Croix Reformed Church

In addition to worship, fellowship and giving back to the community through our member’s personal efforts across the island, together we support a number of special mission efforts.

The Kingshill School

-Founded and located at the church, the Kingshill School offers specialized instruction for students on St Croix facing special challenges which the local schools are unable to meet. The church provides and maintains its facility free-of-charge to the school, allowing them to focus their resources on students in need.  For more information, go to www.kingshillschool.org

My Brother’s Table

-The St Croix Reformed Church is one of the major funding sources for this feeding ministry in Frederiksted. 15,000 meals a year are served one heaping and loving portion at a time to those in need. For more information, to donate and to volunteer, visit www.mybrotherstablevi.org

Reformed Church World Wide Missions & Disaster Relief

Donations to our denomination and special appeals support mission work and disaster relief around the globe, as well as, across the U.S.  For more information go to www.rca.org

The Wind Turbine Fund

Our church was awarded a grant from the US Energy Dept and the VI Energy Office to install a 10K Wind Turbine. Portions of the energy savings generated by the turbine are being set aside to fund several important mission-related projects, including, providing additional instructional assistance to the Kingshill School, and providing energy-related assistance to local churches and communityorganizations. Read the Wind Turbine News category on this website for more information.

Cyber Hymnal

Ever wonder what some of the unfamiliar hymns in our Presbyterian Hymnal sound like?

Go to http://www.stjameschicago.org/hymnal/index.htm.   You can play most of the hymn tunes at Chicago’s St. James Presbyterian hymnal website.

Looking for a long lost hymn you can’t find in our hymnal?  Consult The CyberHymanal at  http://www.hymntime.com/tch

They have hundreds of hymn pages where you can listen to the music, see the lyrics, and read the stories behind the hymns.
