Pastor Peter and his family will be taking a little trip up to the states to see their families this month. He’ll be away from June 18 until July 2. We’re grateful that Nate and Andrea DeWard will be spending some family time on island and fill in while he’s away. Nate is a pastor and director of a non-profit called “Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry.” The ministry sends chaplains and volunteers to visit incarcerated people and provide them resources for personal and spiritual growth. His hobbies are kayaking and disc golf. Andrea has served as a specialized transitional minister at several churches during seasons of staff vacancies. She is energized by guest preaching in new places. More recently she has been exploring chaplaincy opportunities, with an interest in hospice work. Nate and Andrea will be arriving on June 17 with their children Noelle and Micah. Please extend a warm welcome and good Crucian hospitality.
