Remembering Bill Guthrie.

Bill Guthrie passed away in his sleep on Monday evening this week. Many of you know Bill, along with his wife Pat and daughter Marie, have been attending St. Croix Reformed Church since Christmas Eve in 2005.

Throughout his life, Bill was devoted to ministry, social work and community engagement. He shared that big heart with the community at St. Croix Reformed as well.

Pat and Marie are at peace in the midst of their sadness and will be here on the island until June. Calls are welcome. But, in lieu of cards or flowers, Pat asks that you consider a donation to St. Croix Reformed Church in memory of Bill’s devotion and service.

“We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve without hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died.” – I Thessalonians 4:13-14
