Feel The Rhythm

One of the desires expressed in our congregational conversations was to be “more than a Sunday morning congregation.”  With that in mind, we are going to start moving in that direction by hosting two monthly gatherings.

The first is Jazz Vespers which will happen on the first Sunday of each month.  If you would like to be on the planning team to resurrect Jazz Vespers, please speak with Pastor Peter.

The second event, is a monthly BBQ Potluck which will happen on the second Saturday of the month.  The next BBQ will be Saturday, August 11th at 5:30pm.  The BBQ grill will be hot and ready for you.  The campfire will be lit and ready.  Please bring what ever meat you would like to grill for yourself and a dish to share.  BYOB.

Office hours:  Pastor Peter will be in the Church office on Monday-Thursday from  12:00 pm to 4:00 pm this week.  Feel free to call him if you’d like to set up an appointment.  He is also available outside of office hours if there is a more convenient time and place for you.  He can be reached at (616) 450-9774.

Celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism

For you Jesus Christ came into the world;

For you he died and for you conquered death;

All this he did for you, little one,

Though you know little of it as yet.

We love because God first loved us.

Water cleanses, purifies, refreshes, and sustains.  Jesus Christ is living water.  Today we celebrated God’s promise to Lena and Nora Kammerzelt.

Join us as we welcome new members to the St Croix Reformed Church family

The St Croix Reformed Church is proud to welcome Annette Updyke, Ivy Armstrong, and Lindsay and Steve Kammerzelt as new members.

Baptism

Water cleanses, purifies, refreshes, and sustains.  Jesus Christ is living water.  On Sunday, June 17th, we will celebrate God’s promises to Lena and Nora.  Please join together and share in this sacrament with their parents, Steve and Lindsay.

Building Belonging

On Sunday, June 10th, we will be welcoming new members to the body of Christ at St Croix Reformed Church.  Please plan to attend to extend a warm welcome to these brothers and sisters in Christ.  If you are also interested in becoming a member, please give Pastor Peter a call.

What does it mean to be Reformed?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Join us Sunday, May 20th after worship to begin a discussion on Reformed history, theology, polity, and practice.  Our third question will be:  What is the Dutch theology of the Reformation?
