We are working to coordinate representatives for different task committees. Please join and see how you can help.
Tis the Season
On the Sunday following Thanksgiving, you’re invited to stay after worship to decorate the sanctuary for Advent and enjoy some soup. There may even be some Thanksgiving left overs! Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 25th.

November Announcements

Join us for Thanksgiving at St Croix Reformed Church. The turkey will be provided. Bring a dish to share.

The first Saturday of the month is coming up! Help us volunteer at the St Croix Animal Welfare Center this Saturday, November 3rd starting at 8:00 am.
Volunteering includes walking dogs, cuddling puppies, or kittens, cleaning food dishes, etc. If you can’t make it on Saturday, please consider dropping off newspapers, gently used towels, or pedigree puppy food. We have a collection container at the Church and we will make sure the donations get to the Pet Place.

Join us for Jazz Vespers this Sunday, November 4th at 5:30 pm
We’ll be enjoying the music of Adjoa and raising awareness of National Health Month along with Military Month. The doors open at 5:00 pm and the music will begin at 5:30 pm. There will be light refreshments following the event.

Yoga is cancelled for Halloween
No yoga on 10/31/2018 but classes will resume as normal on Friday, November 2nd in the morning and next Wednesday, November 7th in the evening.
First Annual Children’s Led Worship was Awesome!
Special thanks to all of the children that participated in our first annual children’s led worship service.
News and Announcements
Children’s Led Worship
Join us on Sunday, October 28th for our First annual children’s led worship service. Please come and support our youth.
Inklings
An “inkling” is a hunch or hint of something. Many of us have a notion that God exists, a suspicion that there is more out there than we can see. But, it’s hard to be confident in anything more than an inkling. Brandon Perry-Hudson and Pastor Peter are wondering how many other guys would be interested in joining them for a monthly, multi-faith discussion around questions that are hard to answer. Please contact Pastor Peter or leave your name and contact information on the sign-up sheet if you are interested.
What is Reformed?
We’ve had a number of new people express interest in joining the congregation. Anyone who is interested in learning more about the Reformed tradition and what it means to be a member is invited to remain after worship on November 4th and 11th for a not-too-long conversation about where the Reformed Church came from and what it believes.
Yoga for the People
Don’t forget that SCRC hosts yoga twice a week. You can join other members of the community and congregation on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 pm and Friday mornings at 9:00 am. Yoga is led by Claudia Collins and is free for everyone (but we are taking donations).
