Announcements
Jazz Vespers returns on Sunday, October 7th at 5:30 pm! Join with members of the congregations and the community alike to enjoy some Jazz. This months featured artist is Eddie Russell and friends.
You can expect the same great music and engaging format. We hope to add some spoken word and a conversation about how we can make a difference together. The vespers last about one hour. Anyone who is interested is invited to stay afterward to join a conversation that explores an inspiring quote and what it has to teaches us about unity, reconciliation, and justice.
Choir Practice
The choir meets for rehearsal every Sunday at 8:30 am. Everyone is invited to participate!
Find Us On Facebook!
One of the easiest ways to let your community know about the good things happening at SCRC is by spreading the word on social media. You can “like” the St. Croix Reformed Church Facebook age and “share” church events with your friends.
Yoga For The People
Do you know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit within you? How do we free our bodies to love the Lord “with all our strength?” SCRC will be offering two opportunities each week to do just that. Led by Claudia Collins, you are invited on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 pm or Friday mornings at 9:00 am (or both!). STRETCH. BREATH. MEDITATE. RELEASE. PRAY. STRENGTHEN. GROW.
Saturday, October 6th starting at 8:00am
Volunteer at the Animal Shelter (The Pet Place). We can help to walk dogs, play with cats, clean cages, pick up trash, etc
Monthly Potluck BBQ
Join us the second Saturday evening of the month at 5:30 pm for food, fun, and fellowship. We will end the evening with a fireside chat. Next BBQ is Saturday, October 13th.

Feel The Rhythm
One of the desires expressed in our congregational conversations was to be “more than a Sunday morning congregation.” With that in mind, we are going to start moving in that direction by hosting two monthly gatherings.
The first is Jazz Vespers which will happen on the first Sunday of each month. If you would like to be on the planning team to resurrect Jazz Vespers, please speak with Pastor Peter.
The second event, is a monthly BBQ Potluck which will happen on the second Saturday of the month. The next BBQ will be Saturday, August 11th at 5:30pm. The BBQ grill will be hot and ready for you. The campfire will be lit and ready. Please bring what ever meat you would like to grill for yourself and a dish to share. BYOB.
Office hours: Pastor Peter will be in the Church office on Monday-Thursday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm this week. Feel free to call him if you’d like to set up an appointment. He is also available outside of office hours if there is a more convenient time and place for you. He can be reached at (616) 450-9774.
